Lima is waiting for you

Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) is the main airport serving Lima and the primary arrival point for international flights. Travel time to districts such as Miraflores or San Isidro typically ranges from 35 to 60 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

In high traffic hours prices may increase. If you see high rates, wait 10-15 minutes or request the trip again.

Mobility in the city

Lima is a large city and travel times can vary depending on traffic conditions.

  • Ride-hailing apps: Uber and Cabify are widely used.
  • Nearby hotels: Several hotels are within walking distance of the venue.
  • Authorised taxis: Recommended for transportation from hotels or shopping areas.

Walking areas: Miraflores and Barranco are generally safe and popular areas for walking.

Climate and tips

Lima has a mild coastal climate during the month of August.

Average temperature: 16-20 ° C Coastal humidity with mostly cloudy skies and little rainfall.

Tip: Although temperatures are moderate, humidity can make evenings feel cooler.
